The design challenge

Transform the experience, retain the layout

The kitchen’s existing layout remained in place, so the design focused on cabinetry, surfaces, storage and the details that shape how the room feels each day.

Instead, the complete remodel focused on changing how the entire kitchen felt. Cabinetry, work surfaces, storage and the backsplash were developed as one visual system, giving the approximately 450-square-foot room a distinctly renewed identity.

Project scope

A complete remodel within familiar boundaries

  • Complete kitchen remodeling within the existing layout
  • A fully renewed material and visual direction
  • Full-height backsplash treatment
  • Quartz carried behind the range and hood
  • Coordinated cabinetry, surfaces and storage

A defining material moment

Quartz carried beyond the countertop

Quartz extends behind the range and hood as a full-height backsplash, creating a clean focal point and a continuous surface through the cooking zone.
